Having
been raised by parents who were professional artists has been
conducive
in Jackie pursuing her art endeavors. Her parents were Bertel
and
Minnie Wonsmos who had TheArt Shop in Seaside, Oregon for
many years.
Jackie is the author of nine art instruction books "Claflin`s
Windows
Of My World" published by Susan Scheewe. Since 1983 the publishing
company "The Leanin`Tree" in Boulder, Colorado have used 39 of her
paintings on their Christmas and all occasion cards. The American
Diabetes
Assoc. has published her works on Christmas Cards and
in calendars
for the Gift Of Hope Catalog.
Her art work has been
used by Crown Point, Barton Cotton and numerous
other publishers and
for various associations such as the National Rifleman`s
Assoc.,The
Air Force, The National Geographics,The Smithsonian Inst.,
Boats US,
The Salavotorians, the Cancer Society, The Catholic Sisters,
the American
Diabetes Association,The VFW and others.
Her natural and professional
training come together in her creation of her
lovely paintings which
are sought after by many.
One of her treasured areas of her art is
the oil painting classes which
she has been teaching for 21years.
Of whom all her students have become
such special friends.
She resides
with her wonderful husband George in Spokane, WA. of
she is grateful
to for all his encouragement, support and help.

have 3 married children, grandchildren and
great- grandchildren
all who are loved very much.
She does thank God for the ability to
paint, for His creation which is
magnificent and most important of
all His plan of salvation thru
His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16) which
is availabe for all who seek Him.
